INDIGO TONIC

by Celena Hadlock

Raw extra virgin olive oil

Fresh ginger

Black cherry concentrate, unsweetened

Raw agave nectar

Fiji bottled water

Whenever you feel like you just need a general tonic, but you are not sure what for – try this.

Use a teaspoon between your index finger and thumb to peel several pieces of ginger. Put peeled pieces in a Vitamix blender with a little Fiji water. Blend well.

Place a mini fine-mesh strainer over a juice glass, and strain ginger juice, leaving pulp behind.

Add about 4 ounces of raw extra virgin olive oil.

Sweeten with as much black cherry concentrate and agave as you like. Stir well, and you will soon feel a nice warm feeling.

Ginger is magical – it warms, it lifts. Olive oil brings us green strength from the Mediterranean – on some islands they drink a glass for breakfast. Would you drive a car without oil? Your cells, bathing in a beautiful red serum sea – thank you for washing them with purest of oils from the other sea!

Dive in as you drink and then come up to the surface of the green – can you feel the sun? The black cherry ties it all together – solid – bloodlike – elixir. I send you the strength of this tonic, whether you actually ever make it or not.
